How Our Notary Signings Work
Every signing is designed to feel calm, clear, and intentional. A few simple pieces keep everything smooth and compliant, whether we meet online or in person.
Before your appointment
- Every signer must appear with the notary at the time of notarization — in person for mobile appointments or on live video for remote online notarization (RON).
- Each signer needs a valid, government-issued photo ID.
- Documents should be filled out before we meet (no blank sections).
- We’re happy to explain the notary process, but we cannot provide legal advice or tell you what you should sign.
What Is Remote Online Notarization?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) lets us complete your notarization over secure live video instead of meeting in person. You join from your computer or phone, we verify your identity, and we walk through the documents together on screen — you sign electronically, and we notarize electronically.
How a typical RON session works
- You receive a secure link to join your online session.
- You answer identity-check questions based on public records (knowledge-based authentication).
- Your ID is captured and checked using credential-analysis tools.
- We review the document together, you sign electronically, and we complete the notarial certificate.
Why it’s considered secure
- Sessions are recorded with audio and video for an audit trail.
- Documents are sealed with tamper-evident technology after notarization.
- All data moves through encrypted connections on compliant platforms.
- Only signers who pass identity checks are allowed to proceed.
You get the flexibility of completing your notarization from home, work, or anywhere with a stable internet connection — without sacrificing the security and formality of a traditional notary visit.
For remote online notarization, the notary must be located in Arizona, but you can be in any state or country as long as the document is eligible for notarization under Arizona law.
